It so happens I have songs for my books

.
But remember, these are songs that remind ME of the books/certain scenes, but won't necessarily fit anyone else. Every reader brings their own taste and perceptions, so one size (or song) won't fit all.
If you're curious, though...this is for HALWAY TO THE GRAVE (and yes, some of them date me, lol):
Don't Fear the Reaper, by Blue Oyster Cult
In The Air Tonight, the remake by Nonpoint
Name of the Game, by Crystal Method
The Space Between, by The Dave Matthews Band
Fear, by Sarah McLachlan
Fix You, by Coldplay
Dragula, by Rob Zombie
Hero of the Day, by Metallica, the S&M version with the orchestra (this song is the song that best describes Halfway to the Grave for me. Why? Because it starts out slower, almost poignant, and then builds to a defiant roar. Plus, to me, the lyrics are compatible for Cat's view of her world and circumstances at that time. Every time I hear this song, I think of HTTG)
ONE FOOT IN THE GRAVE. If I had a playlist for this, I can't find it, but there is one song that always sticks out to me for this book.
Stand Inside Your Love, by Smashing Pumpkins. Again, it starts out a slower, but builds until everything is bashing together. It's not a laid-back love song, so I think it fits well with the tone of the book. The lyrics are also very compatible for Bones's mindset during the novel.
Oh, and the song *I* imagined during that dance scene in OFITG with Cat and Bones is:
Love Song , the remake by 311
For AT GRAVE'S END, there are several songs I've been listening to as I finish revisions, but one song that's stuck with me ever since I began writing it is:
Now We Are Free, by Hans Zimmer and Lisa Gerrard (in case you're saying, "Huh?", it's the song that played at the end of the movie GLADIATOR). To me, it's perfect for the final climatic scene of the book. I've listened to it over and over while writing AT GRAVE'S END.
