Okay, I said before, but my library had HttG on audio book and I decided to give it a try. And I have to say, Bones sounds nothing like what I imagined, but it's not as bad as I thought it would be. I actually think the voice grew on me. . .

I just saw on facebook that someone received their copy of the TSOTG audiobook from Blackstone audio. It says on the site that it is available 2/22.

Jeanienes sight has the audio pegged for 22/2 so I will be checking my audible everyday. The other releases actually hit early so you never know when they will go up. I have my credit ready and waiting, soooooo can't wait!! Can't think of a better birthday present to myself than this book!!

Listened to a sample and actually liked it (: Thinking about buying an audiobook of Jeanienes work so I'd be able to listen to them while working or something like that.. Don't like audiobooks in general but I enjoyed the short sample I listened to, Tavia really sounds authentic.! Book coming sooo soon, I can nearly feel it lying in my hands right now!!

I GOT THE BOOK!!! and I have listened to it twice!!!! LOVE IT, yet again...sheesh...Tavia had me sobbing like a baby during one particular scene (you can imagine which one). So last night I emailed Tavia Gilbert through her website, telling her how much I love her narration of Jeaniene's books. I also mentioned that some don't like her Bones voice (personally I love it. I know brits who talk exactly like that).

This morning I have an email back from Tavia herself!!!!! OMG...what a lovely woman! I have emailed quite a few of my favourite authors and narrators and so far Jeaniene's assistant and Tavia are the only ones who bothered to write back. Kudos to you both!! It really made my day to get a reply (my days are usually so dull).

Minihaha - like you I think Bones' voice as done by Tavia is PERFECT! Yes, we Yanks (as Bones would call some of us here) seem to read English accent and think upper class British accent - something a young man raised in a brothel would definitely NOT have.

As for This Side of the Grave audio ... Tavia rocked it - as usual.
