The point of a forum is to be able to discuss your thoughts so make them understandable.

Before you post a new topic make sure that you aren't actually duplicating another one or that what you want to say might fall into an already existing topic or category. For aesthetic pleasure, please refrain from double posting and excessive use of emoticons (except the octagon). If you make a post and then think of something else to add, instead of making a brand new post right under yours, use the edit feature. By clicking EDIT you can make changes to your original post, ie: fix typos, ADD MORE INFORMATION. Please do this instead of adding a brand new post.

USING THE QUOTE FEATURE.
When quoting another member, please edit the quote so you're only quoting the part you're commenting on. Occasionally you may end up quoting TWO or more members because the person you're quoting was quoting someone else. This creates unnecessarily long posts with little relevant information.

BE NICE! RESPECT OTHERS!
Speak kind words to each other. Keep this forum a positive and fun place to come, interact and maybe even make friendships. Think twice before you get offended over a comment. The author may not have meant any offense. Since we can't see each other's faces or hear the inflection in each other's voices, it is easy to take something the wrong way. Do not speak ill of or belittle any members. Also, please refrain from discussions about religion, race, politics, and other deeply personal and sometimes controversial topics!

NO INAPPROPRIATE PICTURES/COMMENTS.
This includes rude/offcolor remarks about race, religion, nationality, etc. No pics with private parts or questionable compromising positions.

DO NOT POST PERSONAL INFORMATION.
This forum is available to anyone and it is smarter and safer not to reveal too much private info such as address, phone numbers, travel plans/locations/times, etc. Likewise, if you are uncomfortable with any pics of you or your loved ones being viewed by MANY strangers then do not post them. This is the INTERNET and anyone, anywhere, at anytime can see the content on this site.

This post was in the "Training for the Hunt" forum so maybe it was missed...

For anyone unsure of the rules, please read the above post. We don't have a lot of them, but the few we do have are important so please consider them before posting!

The great thing about our forum is our members. When I posted these guidelines I was concerned about people being rude to each other (that does happen online a lot) and spoilers. So far, I've had to deal with very little of either of those issues. That's definitely something to be proud of and I love that about the site.

So the minor things I'd like to bring up I'm not even gonna worry about, cause you guys are great! If we can just keep an eye on these two things, I'll be a very happy Admin!

Just heads up on this new section. We haven't had many problems with this but sometimes after updating the forum software you get spam bots registering on the board. They like to post inappropriate links, so help us out by using the REPORT POST button!
