any redheads here?

My hair definitly is freakish In winter my hair looks more black than brown, but after only a few days in the sun (it's only May!!) my hair is actually turning a lighter brown with a lot red in it. Especially under direct sunlight everybody is always exclaiming: Jaz, your hair is red. I didn't even know. Yeah, they didn't (: I do. It's just absolutely funny how much my haircolor is changing during the differnet seasons.. And you can tell if I'd a lot of time to spend outdoors. The, um, "lighter and redder" the hair, the more time I had.

I'm no redhead, but I used to dye my hair in a reddish tone! But I'm wearing my natural tone at the moment.
Wanted just add, I've recently read that "Red is the new Blond!"! Had to think immediately of Cat and this thread!!

I'm a real redhead too. Unfortunately I can't put a picture in here (and no avatar - I'm not good with computers) so you have to take my word for it. My hair is quite long, but with all the curls it looks shorter (ca. 50 cm).

The curls I inheritet from my father, the colour is from my mother's mother. It looks like it comes every second generation.

Is anyone going to the Redhead Day in Breda in the Netherlands on the first weekend in September? http://www.roodharigen.nl/ I'm not shure yet if I can make it.

I consider redheads special, its a shame when they dye their hair! I'm naturally ashblonde/ light brown but

You must have really interesting hair, if it changes the color during seasons! A Friend of mine does have such hair, she's blonde tho and goes from ashblonde in winter to almost white blonde in summer.... thats SO cool!! *.*

My sister, one of my brothers and I all had a shade of light brown with red tones-sunlight really brings it out!
Yes all pale with freckles and blue eyes. All from my grandfather - Yes this combo is considered a recessive gene combination

My bro is now grey with white, my sis -wears hers long in the back, short around her face-where she is going grey.
Since I had my very long hair cut short a few years ago, I've been adding warm golden blond hilights to help hide the little white ones coming in.

My SIL is traditional red and I had a very close friend ( who passed away last year) who was a traditional strawberry blond.

I've got red hair, more red than the orange people typically call red, with the freckles and crazy transulcently pale skin. I'll post a pic when I get a chance. Everyone will get to have a good laugh at my skin, people used to call me Casper I'm so pale.
