Kinda late, but what the heck! I just remembered some funny moments and wanted to share. Please post your own, funny or otherwise.

1. Frosties unscrambling the paragraph of doom!
2, Jeaniene running into James Marsters. Literally.
3. Eng and Wont getting my "mod lecture" and wanting nothing to do with me after reading it.
4. Bringing book club over here but being afraid of these new book clubbing drunks ;)

OMG! I thought, "she is sooo mean!" LOL! Come to find out it was just the one-handed mommy.

*snort* so silly. ;)

For me, I LOVED the virtual interviews Jeaniene gave. Also, I thought the Frosties were going to implode when Tee introduced us to The Naughty Corner! Ahh! It's been great fun.

Are you sure I was there for this?

So funny, and this from the creator of the Naughty Corner!

And a few of my own:

1. Tee welcoming us in and allowing us to stay.
2. Having a chance to peel away some of those public layers and getting to know the real Tee.
3. The FrostCasts with Jeaniene. Unforgettably surreal moments for me.
4. Having my eyes and mind opened by the variety of perspectives in the book club.
5. Eng allowing me to learn at her knee.
6. The release of EKOD and everyone realizing (from a respectful distance of course) what I have always known.
7. All those special WM moments when we....ummm..... :shhh:

I've got to say I really love Book Club - so glad I found this board and decided to participate!
And the NH Virtual Bake Off was a lot of fun too!
:D

But the highlight of 2010 for me was definitely the release of EKOD! Might be my all time fave book!

2010 was the year I was introduced to Jeaniene's writing. (thanks cpb Muah) Finding the forum was a highlight too! (cbp saying "you have to get on the boards! It's so much fun")

1. Finding Jeaniene's novels
2. The Forum
3. Book Club

I found the Forum in February of last year after having read everything Charlaine Harris had written, literally all her series. What a great writer. I was looking to immerse myself in another author's writing, so through Charlaine's website and recommendation, I found Jeaniene's novels, and boy am I happy I did. I remember reading the end of Halfway to the Grave in a hotel room at 2 a.m. on my iPhone while my family slept. I was never so happy to have an iPhone and Internet connection as the moment i finished Halfway to the Grave and promptly purchased One Foot in the Grave. I think a week later I found this Forum. I had never joined a Forum or discussed my views on books virtually, but here was this place that allowed me to do just that. I was and am still in heaven, reading threads, commenting on threads, and starting threads (not so well at first), but I felt a part of a new kind of experience that I continue to enjoy. A few weeks after finding the Forum, I discovered Book Club (BC), Eng, Wont, and the Frosties. That is where I learned to make time for myself not just sometime but all the time. I must thank BC for that. It taught my family to let go of me if only for a few hours on Sunday. Oh, I have gone on and on. I love this Forum. I can't believe my time here will be one
year next month. It seems longer. Much enjoyed time. :D
