Some specifics: this story is not related to the Night Huntress universe, so there’s not a vampire to be found. Instead, it’s a completely new paranormal world featuring fallen angels, demons, and partial demons – three supernatural societies that don’t necessarily get along with each other . Again, don’t expect any similarities to the demons in my NH books because none of those rules will apply. It was great to write this story because I’ve had this alternate paranormal world in the back of my mind for a few years now.

It will be a huge about-face to read a JF story not related in any way to the NH universe. But, I trust Jeaniene to hook us, no matter the story line or characters in it.

Not sure what to make of the demon description. Raum was pretty awful in FDOC. Now I wonder if the new demons will be worse, or somehow nice?

Do fallen angels, demons, and half-breed demons have romantic liaisons?

This anthology is a paranormal romance, so yes, expect romantic liasons in my usual style of writing. Now, not saying which subspecies is getting it on with who, but again, these are NOT the same demons from the NH world, so just because the demons in FDOC were creepy doesn't mean these ones will be. The tone of my novella is similar to Halfway to the Grave, if you want a sexy-to-creepiness ratio example
