Unexpected surprises in AGE!

One of the main reasons I loved AGE was because of all the great surprises (I love the unexpected when I read)! For example, I had no idea that zombies would show up in this book! I assumed Bones and Cat would have a wedding ceremony in this book--they did not (I don't mind; it's something to look forward to later!). I never would have guessed that Bones would receive powers from Mencheres (and can now read minds!!). And I was slightly surprised (and greatly amused) by Justina and Rodney!!

Those are just a few examples--the list goes on and on! What were you guys surprised by??

I agree with everything you said! Vlad was a nice touch, I enjoyed that immensely. The Justina and Rodney thing had me cracking up and made me feel awkward at times because Justina just isn't the loving kind of character and imagining all that went on *shiver* But it was funny. I'm glad it got her off Cat's back for a little while. Not long, but for a time anyway.

Relating to R&J, what I enjoyed the most was Bones getting some very muscular payback. "Laughed so hard it bent him double." That was so luscious after the way that bitch has treated him.

I enjoyed all the other surprises everyone listed, and though I would rather NOT had to go through Cat's pain of thinking Bones was dead, I loved the intensity of when he came back. Heck, even WM was so happy he put his arms around Bones. Quite the demonstration for him.

Yes, there was a lot to love in this book.

I thought this book was kind of a emotional rollercoaster.

Yes, Rodney and Justina.. awesome! and did not see coming at all lol
I'm pretty sure I teared up when Cat thought Bones was dead, soo heartbreaking.

I think that thing that surprised me the most, out of some of things already said, was the beginning of chapter 18. It actually scared me a little bit to see Bone's reaction. I'm tore between weither I liked it or not. Bone's amount of jealous/angry displayed to Cat, was a first. I feel like this could lead to some trouble in the future.

Actually I thought that was one of the better parts! After all, think of how Cat reacts whenever one of his exes shows up and he doesn't even have to touch them for her to react very badly. She is extremely possessive of Bones. Meanwhile he's been spending all this time since he rejoined her watching her make out with other men for her job. And worse is he knows that Tate wants to take her away from him. It's about time she realized what she has been putting him through.

I felt that Bones was due to have a little acting out on his jealousy.. I thought that he had been pretty good controlling it for the most part so him reacting the way he did to the whole set up with Tate.. he was allowed
