Bones found it and gave it back to Mencheres. Mencheres brought it with him when they left the house after the battle.

I was already crying in those chaps so if she'd read it I'm sure the page would have been one big blur and I woulda had to stop so I could compose myself :-p

Ha I found you JG, It's HR from LKH.

Anyway I agree I really wanted her to read it, but if she had 1 I would have needed a new book because the page would have been destroyed, and 2 I wouldn't have been able to compose myself to finish reading.

Oooh, I have an idea - how about if we ask Jeaniene to show where Bones and Cat discuss what is in the letter before the wedding?!! I think that's a great idea, especially since we all want to know what is in it.

Once everyone started being concerned with Bones being alive I thought.... what about the box?? I never hear about it again! Then everyone starts breaking things in the house... had the box been concealed first? Don't destroy it please!! (btw, as soon as they were destroying objects I thought "it's that prisoner go kill him")

Soooo happy to have the mystery around the box cleared. I really thought I HAD to know what it said but I like not knowing. He isn't dead and that is better than knowing what he wanted her to know if he was. Now we can all imagine what he would have said in our own minds. However I have a feeling it is nothing short of the already amazing love declarations he has made to her since book one. Gawd I love you Bones!!

I was also wondering about the letter and box. I am glad we didn't *see* the letter either. It felt too private - like it was just for Cat.

It was just for Cat which means it's at least MY business. I don't know about you but in my fantasies, I am Cat. :D LOL. It was a good decision to let us all decide what we would have wanted him to say.

I was wondering along with everyone else what happened to the box. I thought it was kind of weird that Cat completely forgot about, understandably so, but still. Glad that was cleared up, I hated thinking someone else got hold of the box, like Tate! That would have been bad!

I'm actually glad she didn't read the letter! I was already crying like a baby when she pulled out the picture! Seriously, I was locked in my bathroom so my kids wouldn't think I was crazy for crying while reading a book

I didn't want to see the letter; as long as Cat didn't read it to me Bones was alive. Her reading it said he was dead. I thought those scenes of Cat's grief were awesome. I felt her pain, trying to hold it together to be a good ruler of Bones' line.
