Deleted scenes from At Grave's End, part 1

Jeaniene doesn't want to spoil it for us, but I feel Bones and Cat will finally have their showy wedding in Book 5. In Book 4, they went through so much hell; a little heaven for them would be nice. Wouldn't it be amazing if Cat's father, Max by some miracle escaped and crashed the wedding just as the minister/undead official asked if anyone objected. Then, Cat with her new powers kills him in some gruesome way. That would be a wedding present Cat could appreciate her whole undead existence.

There is one problem with this though. Cat's only power is what she gets from feeding from the other vamps. If she wants to blow Max up like Gregor then Bones would have to allow her to feed from Vlad and I don't see that happening. What Cat gained from attacking (accidentally feeding from) Vlad has already dissipated by the time FDOC came out. Right now she has some of WM's power but I don't think it will last long enough until the (hopefully) wedding.

It would be cool though to see her blow Max up like Gregor. She could make her own fireworks!

I think we all could appreciate Cat being the one to put paid to Max, especially in a meaningful way.

But, to me, it would put a huge damper on what should be a happy event. I'm for Cat doing the honors, but not at their wedding. Or at the reception. Now the honeymoon, I can see it.

I hope Cat and Bones do get to have a traditional wedding. Esp since he did ask her in a traditional way to be his wife by giving her a ring.
