In FDOC she was loosing her power from Vlad but maybe if she drinks enough from them she gets to keep the ability .... :D

Cat was definitely losing the pyro abilities she gained from Vlad. Her ability to absorb powers was stated as only having those powers temporarily. Unless there was a serious need, say for a battle strategy, you can bet Bones would not want her to feed from Vlad again, so that trick will be history. However, now that she is a full vampire, we can expect some surprises as to her developing abilities, especially as she continues to feed from Bones. Who know what Jeaniene will allow to filter down from the family tree.

Wont took my answer ;) ! Okay, to play the six degrees of Tenoch, here it is. Tenoch sired WM and Vlad. WM shared power with Bones. Cat feeds from Bones. Remember WM was surprised that Bones was not truly dead in AGE (latent shriveling ability  , snort). It would stir things up a bit if Cat suddenly flame broiled someone because of a dormant vamp gene she picked up from Bones. I fully agree with wont. Hell would have a better chance of freezing over than Bones willingly, in a nonemergent situation, volunteering Vlad's artery.

Brings to mind what fun it would be if Cat toasted Appollyon like a marshmallow. hmmm, ghoul s'mores!

Careful with that comparison - Hell freezes every winter!! There's a little town in Michigan named Hell and it gets downright nasty in the winter there. :laughing-rolling:

I figured that wont! Since I'm originally from Michigan I just get a kick out of pointing out that Hell does indeed freeze. For anyone interested here is the link to Wikipedia's entry on Hell:

Huh, whaddaya know. I never knew hell actually froze over. I guess my mother in law will be moving in and I will be on the cover of SI's swimsuit edition next year.

Thanks wont - I liked the visual too. Can't you just see Cat and the oh hell reaction?

As far as this thread goes - if Cat develops latent powers she sucks out of Bones (fight the GMS, fight the GMS), wouldn't it be a codependency then? Bones would look to Kitten to see what new thing she is doing this week  .

My guess...Bones will be doing that anyway. :)

As to Cat obtaining latent powers from Bones' um....liquid assets, I'm pretty sure those powers could only be transferred via blood. Otherwise...can you imagine? :o

oh wow wont...GMS taking over! Either way, she still has to suck  . As J has said, neither are going to stop biting the other one and since Cat primarily uses Bones for food...I can only imagine what powers she may inadvertently develop as a result. So, yeah, I think Bones and WM will be keeping a close eye on her...
