First Drop of Crimson Release Party 
Hello Frost Fans!
For several months, we have anticipated the release of "First Drop of Crimson" by Jeaniene Frost. We have dedicated this Sunday's book club (February 28th at 8:00 PM EST) to discuss FDOC. We will cover discussion questions and also, Jeaniene Frost has agreed to do a VIRTUAL INTERVIEW. Questions have already been submitted to her and we will pepper in her answers during the discussion time.
For this special night, we have some discussion questions specific to FDOC. If you have an additional questions you would like to discuss, you are welcome to post them then. Something that really helps the discussion is to have your answers typed in advance so all you have to do is copy/paste when a question comes up.
Discussion questions:
1. What was your favorite quote?
2. In this book we learn about the Night Huntress universe through a vampire's eyes. What new information did we learn through Spade?
3. Previously, in the Cat & Bones books, we saw everything through the eyes of Cat. In FDOC, we see part of the narrative through a new heroine's eyes. What new did we learn from Denise's POV?
4. Which character do you like the most and why? The least and why?
5. Do the characters seem believable? Can you relate to their predicaments?
6. Were your views on a character changed by reading FDOC?
7. What was your favorite romantic or sexy scene?
8. Did you notice any elements of foreshadowing or insights to future works?
9. Any music come to mind specific to First Drop of Crimson?
10. Name your favorite thing overall about the book. Your least favorite?
It's going to be a really fun night. I hope everyone is going to be able to attend. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to PM me.

Okay all, this Sunday is a special occasion. Do we need a special alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage to celebrate?

Well, you do need the non-alcoholic beverage for those of us who are designated drivers. Got to make sure everyone is safe you know!!

I think we have learned in the past one should not let one's friend drink and blog. Although they do have a nice and cozy naughty corner??

Well, for those of us who were there last time...uh hem...it really wasn't that big of a deal. We had FAR more chaos on the night of the Golden Globes! 
Alcoholic bevs are not required. I personally will be having a cranberry spritzer w/lime. (Although, I could be persuaded to try one of the non-alc bev recipes Mun posted. They sounded awesome!)
We have a lot of ground to cover Sunday night. It is special occasion though and wanted to make it available to those who wished to partake. Either way, I think a fun time will be had by all.

I'm sharing two recipes for my preferred preventative to dehydration!
#1 Vodka Gimlet
2 oz. Vodka
1/2 oz. Lime Juice
Combine in a shaker with ice.
Shake vigorously and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Serve with a lime squeeze. (This means the fruit, not your current darling )
#2 Vodka Gimlet w/sugar
1 1/2 oz Vodka
1 oz lime juice
1 tsp powdered sugar
Stir all ingredients with ice, strain into a cocktail glass, and serve.
Brand of vodka is your choice, I really, really like Grey Goose! I am however open to recommendations!
Imagination to the fore! I am ready!

that is right I forgot the issues woth the globes. And I wasn't a part of that I just stick to whiskey for you know who. I know we be talking Spade, but I stick to Bones when it comes time to drink. And I will not have my daughter so life is grand that night
