Because vampire lovers get thirsty too, this will be a thread to post your favorite beverages. We'll be choosing some to try during book club discussion. And one to get us started:

Vampire Kiss Martini
1½ ounces Finlandia vodka, chilled

1½ ounces Korbel Champagne

¾ ounce Chambord Black Raspberry Liqueur

Rim a martini glass with red sugar or garnish with raspberry syrup. Pour vodka and half of the Chambord in a martini glass, top with Champagne, and pour the remaining Chambord over the back of a spoon to make it float.

-yum!

I don't drink alcohol but I can recommend a good ginger ale for mixers for those out on the east coast. Try using Vernor's ginger ale (and tell my kids they're supposed to be sending it to their poor mother)!!

One of my favorite non-alcoholic drinks is a cranberry spritzer...and it is super easy!

1/2 cranberry juice
1/2 Perrier or some other kind of sparkling water
squeeze of lime

Serve over ice with a straw
