What I Thought About EKOD

that would make sense I suppose. I'm just thinking more a long the lines of since he couldn't erase her memories and she already knew things that were out there, you would think he would at least give her a little heads up about how things work in that world so she'd have a little idea as to what's right and wrong. Especially if he wasn't going to be around. The other thing that kind of got to me was how it ended. I was expecting them to at least get back into each others company..... either way I enjoyed reading it. I think I'm just being picky!

My thoughts on EKOD were we need to see more of these two. I enjoyed them as much as I enjoy Cat & Bones. Please Please consider writing a book 2 to this. But we can't forget to give Vlad a girl. Poor Vlad he deserves one too.

Loved Kira and WM. I could see much more adventures running along NH series with the necessary crossovers. PLEASE MORE MORE MORE

I loved seeing Mencheres in this type of role...not just being the powerful, old vampire that always seems to just be there.
I liked having a new heroine enter the picture that hadn't been their previously.
I missed Ian...weird I know, but I figured he would have made an apperence into this book...except they do seem to have a hard time trusting him.
I wished that the tub scene would have played out instead of being interrupted...lol...I'm a lttle bitter about that.
I didn't like...well I don't think there was something I didn't like. I wouldn't have left any part out or changed anything, no matter how bitter I am about the tub scene! (Yep I said it again)

I really enjoyed this book A LOT, I am a Mencheres and Vlad fan so I devoured the book in a day. Although I was disappointed to see how easily Cat and Bones deemed Mencheres guilty. Yes is truth that he hid things from them, but when measuring friendship (in my opinion), you have to balance the good and the bad, and from all the C & B books, I have seem much more good coming from Mencheres than bad. He’s been there for them every single time. But then again, they did come through at the end!
I loved the fact that Vlad was so affected when he heard that Mencheres was planning to take his life!

I have to say that I have enjoyed every book as much as the last one, they just keep getting better and better!

True, but they did forgive him for what he did, they just needed a little time (: Even Cat is more comfortable with him around, now. I think they really appreciate what he did in the end. He did it for the "greater good", even if we weren't able to see the bigger picture from the start. Visions did that to him.

Oh I never meant to imply that Veritas got any sort of power upgrade from Tenoch. WM alludes that such an upgrade could really only be done once...so Tenoch gave it to WM and WM gave it to Bones. Obviously Veritas is quite powerful and we don't know much about her. Not sure what traits she may have inherited just by being sired by Tenoch. My comment was that it seems that WM, Radje, Veritas and Vlad were all Master vamps AND Masters of their own lines. But, how they got to be Masters of their own lines, we still don't know. I think we can assume that Tenoch granted WM's freedom from his (Tenoch) line. But, it's never been discussed if the others were granted freedom by Tenoch or if they got that status once Tenoch died (he didn't leave someone in charge of his line it seems, since WM mentions taking Vlad under his wing...not his line...for a bit after Tenoch passed).
