I believe his name is Gorgon and that he's described as nordic looking so maybe he's scandinavian? From EKOD he has blue eyes, blonde hair and a scar down his face and has been Menchie's companion for centuries.

I believe he's French. Gorgon is his vampire name but his human name is never mentioned. His habit of speaking with French terms though would seem to indicate that was his native language though.
I never argue with anyone with as many sharp teeth as you've got.

wow, I never noticed that WC.. can you cite something he says like that? I'm almost embarrassed to admit to not noticing that with how many reads of EKOD I don't want to admit to.. ;)

Evidently it was a widely used name. Here is a link to Wikipedia and more info than you probably wanted on the subject:

I've read that before, wont.. it's pretty funny actually. I'm just wondering what french terms Gorgon has used in the books. I don't really know much (make that any) french, so I was just curious as to what WC was picking up on!

I have to make a most sincere apology here - I had been up at the hospital all night with our 39 year old daughter who has lupus. I was confusing him with another G who shall not be named. I should never answer something when I haven't slept in almost 27 hours.

No problem WC.. hope your daughter is on the mend. My mom had lupus, nasty stuff, and it can be so very painful. *big hugs to you* Hope you can get some rest.
