Oh, and I'm currently reading Dark Desire by Christine Feehan. Jacques has to be the single most tortured creature ever. I think he may be even a little more tortured than a certain

Finished reading Gunmetal Magic and Battle Royale. Nothing to do with each other, but absolutely loved both. Back to Downside Ghosts #2 by Stacia Kane!

Just finished Darkly Dreaming Dexter by Jeff Lindsay. It was a fantastic, dark mystery/thriller with a very flawed character. If you have not read it, I highly recommend it.

Christina Dodd fans - if you have not read the Darkness Chosen series and The Chosen Ones - do that then go pick up Wilder. Unless I've heard wrong, Wilder ends the series and Ms. Dodd went out with a hell of a bang.
I also read The Lady is a Vamp by Lynsay Sands. I have read, from several sources, that perhaps the Argeneau series should come to a graceful end. I would love to see what the opinion is after this one. IMHO, this is the best book since Lucian and Leigh's story. Sands appealed on a more emotional basis in this book than relying on her humor. It is definitely a must read for Argeneau fans.

I've just spent the last two days totally engrossed in the Lux series by Jennifer Armentrout.. very good. lots of action, drama, supernatural stuff, government agencies.. sound familiar?? The first book is titled Obsidian, the second on Onyx. Here's a link to the authors page if anyone is interested...
