I'm really curious to see what you guys think about the Curran tidbit from GMM. You know - the potential for BL at the end.

Just finished Gunmetal Magic. What a great book! I love how Andrea comes to accept herself and the flirting/fighting with her and Raphael.

Of course my favorite moments were
Spoiler: show
When he moved his things into her place while she was gone and her carpeting his whole house. When he started calling Andrea and stalking her when he came home was hilarious.

The novella at the end of the book was great. Very cool reading a short story during the same timeline from Kate's POV.

I just started Gunmetal magic last night....so far hating Rafael...and Andrea is not a quirky (therefore not as interesting/funny) as Kate.

Will join the fun after I finish!
Bones or Vlad- tough decision...I'll take them both! LOL

Yep, I was right there with you, UA. Keep going. Rafael could easily place high in next year's Alpha Showdown and Andrea grows on you.

Finished!

Gunmetal
Spoiler: show
Well Andrea grew on me, but I took the opposite side from most. I loved Raphael after forgiving him for the blonde bimbo and wanted to kick Andrea in the teeth most of the book. I thought Raphael was doing all the right things and motions and Andrea was the fool. I mean after knowing how much it hurt to see the blonde bimbo (I feel like I want to type Leghair here), she goes and tries out a kiss with my new favorite secondary character Roman. I mean that was almost like tit for tat...i don't buy that she was trying a new relationship. Whether she realized it or not, her purple shagging of Rafael's apartment was her claiming him like he did her apartment. I did wind up liking the book a lot and I felt like i read the short before (or at least part) also. I hope we see a Roman focused book one day and I would love to see if Rafael finds out about the kiss, though I don't want Raf hurt but I feel Andrea should not get away so easy with that stupid move.

UA
Spoiler: show
You and me both, honey. Andrea's I love him, I love him not stance made me want to neuter a bouda - with a spoon. :angry-cussingblack: But the end justified the means and wowza, I was very impressed.

Note - and when I say note, I'm looking at Wont or anyone who hangs with the collecting writing duo of Ilona Andrews on a regular basis - could you please pass on how very badly we want a Roman book. Please (with Egyptian sugar on top). Thanks!

Maybe. :D

UA's comment reminds me. The Edge series is still on my TBR mountain.
