OMG! That looks great! I'm really happy with how she looks. I was worried, and she still doesn't *completely* fit the image of Katniss in my head, but I'm satisfied. Thank you for posting Eng! You're the best :D

Thanks Eng. I can't wait for my EW to come in the mail. She looks great. The darkened hair and tan make Jennifer look like another person, as is the intention of changing her look to portray Katniss. That is her on the cover, right?

I like the Katniss pic on the cover. Works for me. I think the casting of Josh Hutcherson as Peeta is a good move too. I liked him in Bridge to Terabithia, he was one of the two main characters in that movie. It was a very emotional role, and he handled it quite well. I have to say I was surprised to see him play a very different part in RV with Robin Williams, so I think he can act.

Looking forward to this movie!

And I think Woody Harrelson as Haymitch works too. He's crusty enough to be Haymitch..lol

Makes me wonder how much the movie is going to cover versus the three books...

oh, and here's another pic from the EW article...Image

Hey Frosties! I just saw these pictures of Katniss, Peeta, and Gale and thought I'd share. After seeing the pics of Josh as Peeta, he's actually starting to grow on me. In costume, I think he looks pretty good! And these pics are getting me even more anxious to see the movie. ;)

I'm glad we have a date for Catching Fire, too. Even though November 22nd, 2013 seems so far away :(

I have to admit that Josh is growing on me as Peeta. Maybe it is his lower lip that makes him seem more vulnerable...who knows? Is it me or does March seem like a REALLY long time away? *sniff*

I think the pictures from the set of The Hunger Games are awesome! I always thought Josh Hutcherson was a good choice for Peeta and I also like the shots of Gale as well. I'm really looking forward to this.

I have to say THG was my favorite read so far this year, besides TSOTG of course.

Oh casting talk!

I love, LOVE Harrelson as Haymitch, I think of him in Zombieland and he just fits perfect for me!

I was nervous of Peeta at first but he's totally growing on me too, also I just recently watched 'The kids are alright' and he did a great job there.

Love Katniss as well!

I can not stress how excited I am for this movie! It's going to be made of awesomesauce!!! :D

I read the first in this series and like it, but was noit dying to keep reading. I am more into the romance side of things, do you think I will like the other two?

I think you will like the other two. There is romance, but the suspense and character development are good too, not to mention new characters. The other two are Catching Fire and Mockingjay.

I like the girl they cast for Katness, but I am not too excited about the guys. They just do not do it for me. But, I had the same thing with Twilight. I love the Edward in the books and was not a huge fan of Robert Patinson for the role. I will still see it though.
I did buy the last two books, but they have joined the mass of TBR on my kindle. Thank goodness for the kindle or I might be on an episode of Hoarders with all my books!
