HI all, newbie here... I'm so glad that Bones' reaction to seeing the tattoo not being mentioned bugged other people too! Each time I read it (and I've read it several times, esp. a certain chapter, which I'm sure you can guess at) it always strikes me as odd that it's never mentioned again until Max cuts it off.
