I'll put this up on my website in the next couple days, but wanted to post it here first. Here is the cover for ETERNAL KISS OF DARKNESS. I'm very happy with how it turned out. Some of my favorite things are the green in Mencheres's eyes, his expression, and how his hand is curled around Kira's. Also what the .jpg doesn't show, but you'll see once the book is out, is that the entire cover has a sheen on the front, so in the light, it flashes a faint, hazy silver. SO pretty! The stepback is still being tweaked. I'll post that once it's ready.
Since everyone always asks, no, these models aren't exactly how I picture Mencheres and Kira. In my head the best representation I could give would be Oded Fehr for Mencheres, as many of you know (http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p14/ ... hr_010.jpg ) and Milla Jovovich for Kira (http://ia.media-imdb.com/images/M/MV5BM ... SY323_.jpg ). But oddly enough, those two weren't available to pose for the cover, lol. So I think my art director did a great job with finding replacements

Ooooh Jeaniene! How exciting. I like the blue tint to the photo against the hot pink text. Cannot wait to see treatments. Yeah, Oded didn't return your calls? We'll have to get Wont involved.

It's different from the others, but it's really amazing! I like the way Kira stands! Beautiful cover once more!

It's staying within the theme... (not the Cat & Bones books, but you know what I mean)... guy over a girl and some blood droplets.
Since Oded was busy & not returning your calls... wont, I thought you were gonna have his people call Jeaniene's people.
thanks for sharing. Of course, the cover could be blank w/ just the title in block letters and I'd still rush out to get a copy. Now I'll be able to spot it sooner, though. smile.

Whoa! Jeaniene: I can see why you are happy with it. To say it coveys more than a bit of umm....intensity, is an understatement. I love, love the clasping hands. And, pardon me, but I have to say, I don't believe WM would leave a single drop, much less two, on his lips. I won't venture toward the use-of-the-tongue subject. 
The green eye effect is so sensual. No surprise there!
I'm thrilled to see it, but, it does make the waiting even more painful. (quiet sobbing here as I load up the RL)

Great cover. I agree that my favorite parts are the green eyes and the hands. I also didn't picture Mencheres this way, more like Oded Fehr, but the cover works so well! So can't wait for it to come out.
