Tee - thanks for moving this to its own thread. yes, blue, dotted line boxes are the ghouls.
The bright yellow boxes are for the co-rulers. The light yellow boxes are for who was there "that night" Bones was changed. We don't know who sired Timothy, but since Ian or Mencheres couldn't, the other possibilities, unless it's a new vamp, might be Vlad or Gorgon.
Green is Vlad's line. There is a dotted line between Vlad and Mencheres since Mencheres took Vlad under his wing when Tenoch died, so I wanted to show that connection between them.
The names with strikethrough have met their final death.
I wanted a way to show the connections between Max, Human Justina and their offspring Cat, so I colored them purple, and connected them with those funny dotted/dashed lines. And Vampire Cat is sired by Bones so she is under his line. If you have any suggestions on a better way to show that, please let me know. For Cat, it shows both her human parents and her vampire sire, so she's a little different. Plus as a main character, I thought she needed some shading.
And finally ghosts in gray. I included Fabian because I consider Fabian adopted by Cat and Bones, but mostly Cat.
I had a lot of fun doing this. bontempscutie and I were talking about some of the other minor characters I can add, like Ian's butler from OFITG, but sometimes it isn't said directly who was the minor character's sire.
Sam says this in EKOD, for example: “I was a Legacy. Used to belong to Tick Tock, but he died in the war over a year ago. Mencheres was Tick Tock’s Master, so he inherited all his property when Tick Tock died, me included
I'm making an assumption that Mencheres was his sire, but maybe he wasn't.. he could have acquired him in some other way, right? but he was clearly part of Mencheres line, so I included him.
how about Anubis? Did Patra sire him? I'd love it if people offered some suggestions on other characters to add. I have to say I was really surprised at how this looked when it came together.
...his skin was like sand in the sunshine, a gold-and-cream mixture that felt electrified with the power sparking from him.
