This would be a great analogy (side character book).

Was wondering how Cat and Denise became friends; she's a no nonsense gal like Cat. Juan blowing an operation? That was a surprise but nice to read the team wasn't perfect from the onset.

I love reading deleted scenes, it adds so much more to the characters and the extra background is a nice tie in. It is nice to know that Cat was not as oblivious to Don's behind the scenes precautions as it appears.

Very interesting short story! Liked reading more about the characters. Favorite part had to be the dream Cat has about Bones because i like to see how she missed him and dreamed about him even as she tried not to think of him.
