I already had the paperback, but was happy to get the eBook, but for some reason Sony is selling it for 3.99 instead of 1.99 like everyone else.

Hope you didn't pay $3.99. Sony posted that price in error. It's now $1.99 as it was supposed to be. If you paid more, get a refund!

But that´s US only? I just lookt at amazon.de and there it is 4,71€ which is about 6,32 USD.

Yes, Amazon can upcharge for international readers. I can't stop them and neither can my publisher. I wish they wouldn't charge more, but...well, they're Amazon. They do what they want.
