Oh no, our dear Red Reaper lost against this Lothaire guy!!

But the next round has already started, so go and vote for Mr. Ethan Sullivan, our all time favorite Chicagoan Vampire, who has to fight some druid guy!

Did you guys notice how close it was? There was no blow out, it was the slimmest of margins of victory. I'm very proud of our Frosties for voting.

Now, that being said, Bones has moved on to round 2. I'd like to see him in the final round. Like I said before, I'm going to come to you guys to vote. If you're on twitter, follow @ChelseaVBC and she's got everything posted that's Showdown related.

Oooh, in the next round Bones goes up against Charles Cornick. Should be interesting!

:? Interesting? If that were an eighties action flick (possibly co-starring Dolph Lundgren - in my opinion the predecessor of Alexander Skarsgard - umm...where was I? oh yes...) and those two were forced by evil villains to fight to the death, I'd be in quite a predicament. It's nigh impossible to choose between them. In fact, I'd jump down from the stands (in my jellies and with crimped hair and seriously dark eyeshadow) and propose they join forces to end the horrible practice of death matches for the pleasure of despots. *cue def leppard*

Oh, and thanks to this alpha showdown, I'm now heading on to book two of Kresley Cole's Immortals After Dark series. Do you know how weak I feel having to drive like an addict down to Barnes and Noble because I'm too cheap to pay overnight shipping on Amazon (and too much of a bibliophile to own an e-book?) ARRRgh. I'm just a pawn of martini swilling ad executives! :x

Hubs and I took our 11-year-old to a birthday party today. On the way home, we passed a field with a lot of cattle. Probably at least 75 that we could see. Kiddo commented and me, being sans filter, said the first thing that came to mind, which was "that's a lot of steak". Hubby says "Riiiight. I see steak. You see shoes."

Anybody want to make a bet that our children end up in lifelong therapy?

Not me, I see steaks!! I'm a whole heck of lot more interested in eating than in wearing somethings hide.
I never argue with anyone with as many sharp teeth as you've got.

i don't eat steak, so if they are going to be killed- lets use everything- might as well turn that hide into a great pair of shoes or boots ;)
