Does anyone know what song it is that Bones thinks is perfect at the end of Chapter 17? I don't remember reading any further reference to what song Leila is repeating in her mind at the end of that chapter to keep Vlad out of her mind.

wc I just checked and she recited the lyrics to a song called Take This! I'm not familiar with it though...

I don't think that was meant to be the title of the song. I think it was more Leila's response to Bones when she thought of a new song. She responded to Bones in her mind since that was was she was trying to block.

I also want to know what slit-your-own-throat annoying song Leila came up with. Maybe Jeaniene can give us the answer if it's not a spoiler to Twice Bitten?

Honestly, I believe J has answered this. *scratches head* If I remember correctly, she said that for all intents and purposes Kira and Mencheres are married...?

And the song question, I think she answered as well. If I am remembering correctly, she doesn't mention the song title because she had it stuck in her head for so long during the writing process... Anyone else remember? Did I dream all this??

In a future book, is there an elaborate vampire wedding for Mencheres and Kira or Cat and Bones?

Cat and Bones, no. The reason why Cat answered in her internal thoughts during the hospital scene with Don in This Side of the Grave. Mencheres and Kira, maybe. They’re not married in any way yet, human or vampire, so if they decide to amend that in the future, they might do a formal ceremony. Or they might not. Depends on what both of them would want.

Re-the song. I didn't name it because I wanted readers to fill in the most annoying song they could think of, and I didn't want something stuck in people's heads while they read. However, if you want to know what I was thinking of, it was "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me?" by Culture Club. Hearing it over and over in the movies The Wedding Singer and Without A Paddle made me want to beat my own head in, lol.

Re-Mencheres and Kira (Wont, cover your eyes! ) They would've had a small, private ceremony sometime between This Side of the Grave and One Grave at a Time. At the end of EKOD you pretty much know that they will get married, but I couldn't find a place to stick a wedding scene in either book. Sometimes things happen off-page.

And you know, how could I break Wont's heart by showing that in detail???
