Can someone please explain to me why, in the name of all that is holy, a telemarketer would think it a successful maneuver to call a house at 8:00 on a Saturday morning? It's not. I conjugated the F word 47 different ways when the phone rang. Then I informed said telemarketer that _________________ (hubby's name) was not here and that if they found the bastard, he owed me five years back child support for our seven children. Somehow, I think we may have been marked off that call list.

Sounds like a response that would work on the ones that want to call you at 9:00 PM too!! Personally, I think telemarketing should be outlawed.

Actually, it's become a game here. Hubby hates when they call because he never knows what I'm going to say. I've had two call for security systems lately. I told one of them that I would have my husband call as soon as he got home from sniper school. The last one who called for money for the police (which is not from the police, BTW - I have law enforcement confirmation of this), I told them that I couldn't donate anything as I almost had enough saved up for my *cough* implants. So as long as they don't call when I'm asleep, it's game on. If I'm asleep, they may get a bit of an attitude.
