Love it. I love how she can just make it so interesting and different, it wasn’t what I expected at all, it was better!. The only thing I really missed was Bones and Kat’s (for lack of a better term) “mushy” relationship. They were angry at each other or running away from bad guy that it wasn’t really them. No cute banter or sexual innuendos of books past, hopefully they’ll get back to that. it always makes me laugh.

Wow, got through this latest book finally. Great! Can’t wait for another sequel.
Hmm, at first I was a little upset for Cat “turning over”, but it still left room for more, and hey, she didn’t quit beeing a weirdo. ;-)
Following all those fans’ reactions I’m wondering, wether the series has got more female than male fans. Both main characters are kind of gorgeous…
Talking about all of the characters: It is very interesting to visualize them, based upon Jeaniene’s lovingly description. Some remind me of other wellknown fictive vampire characters, some seem unique.
The vampires’ world setting is absolutely thrilling, from my point of view as a vampire / supernatural fan for decades and p&p rpg gamer as well (although more the werewolf than the vamp type).
My last advice for all non-US readers (myself beeing German): Take the English original version! I doubt that any translation can carry that level of narrative art Jeaniene presents us. And there’s no other way in training your language skills that entertaining. :-)
